Time To Ground Ourselves

If you are anything like me, you know how ungrounded a psychic can become. And when we talk about being ungrounded, I mean from feeling like you are floating in the air (which is actually quite a good feeling so long as you are not crossing the road), being pushed by other people’s negative energies, or even adopting high frequency energies from other people. Please note that the only way a high vibrational being can adopt another’s energy is if the other energy is in a higher frequency vibration than yours. Say, true spiritual teachers, etc.

That is why it is very important to always maintain a high vibration. I have been on a quest to find out the best way to ‘ground’ myself, without necessarily dropping my frequency to the worldly, lower frequency. This is what we all want. We do not want to reduce our frequency, after working every single day and minute to raise it. We are looking to be able to survive in the third dimension while maintaining our link to the fourth or fifth dimensions.

The best way that I have come across is by Sudevi and I thought I could share the video with you. She talks about not lowering your energy to fit in, but using your Viveka (discernment) to know the kind of energy you are dealing with, how to tune in to your intuition, what to do if you cannot get out of the room when your intuition says flee, all the while, maintaining your high vibration.

So I hope this helps everyone else who has been struggling with grounding like I had.

Love and light,

Psychics and Bipolar Disorder

This has got to be the most controversial opinion. With people insisting that people with Bipolar Disorder choke it up to being Psychic. If you are a Psychic, you know better. And you do not have to try and convince anyone that you are. In any case, being psychic is not a show you put on, or something you do to prove a point. You either are or you aren’t. And even the people who think they aren’t, we all know that they have the ability innate, they just don’t know it.

Then there is Bipolar Disorder. Suffice it to say, mental disorders sometimes go hand-in-hand. Bipolar Disorder has 2 phases in it. The manic (or sometimes hypomania) and the depressive phase. There is the lull period between the two. Between the manic or depressive phases, physics senses become heightened. And it would make sense wouldn’t it. With Bipolar Disorder, most symptoms involve heightened senses, excessive energy, etc.

So how do you cope with Bipolar Disorder and being Psychic? If you are just starting out noticing the difference, then it can feel like an uphill battle. Quite daunting in fact. Sometimes you feel so lost, and may even feel like you are losing your mind! You don’t know whether you are actually psychic or you just have a mental illness. What do you do in this instance?

Never ever panic. If you have established that you are psychic, let that be a constant within you. Doubt makes things worse. You will feel lost and your ability become out of whack. Once you have that as an established constant, then you are able to deal with the Bipolar Disorder. By all means, seek the help of a professional. But whichever professional you are consulting, let them not derail you from what you already know. They are only helping you cope with the Bipolar Disorder, so long as you cannot cope.

Why am I telling you all this? Because in the last couple of years, I have discovered that I do suffer from Bipolar Disorder. It has not been easy, especially when I felt that I was losing my mind. How am I coping? Establishing routines. These routines help all round. With being Psychic as well as with Bipolar Disorder. Believe it or not, your priority is to stay grounded, and nothing grounds you like routine. Respecting your body is another important way of coping. You will feel tired sometimes, and you will feel full of energy. Recognise these patterns, when they come, so that you can adjust accordingly.

Being Psychic and having Bipolar Disorder does not have to leave you feeling helpless. Seek guidance and counsel as and when you need it. Keep up with routine and never for even a second, doubt who you are or what you are capable of doing, even when people around you introduce doubt.

I am no expert, but I know that sharing my experiences will help someone out there cope, and feel that they are not alone.

Love and light.

No Need To Fear A Kundalini Awakening

It has taken me a very long time to work out fear issues. Truth be told, I’m still working on it. Psychic and spiritual fear has been the worst. I used to fear Isochronic sounds, meditation, etc. I also used to fear Kundalini Awakening.

Who hasn’t? If you browse through the internet, you will come across people who have gone through tremendous hell, during awakening. My Spirit Guide (whom I have always dreaded dealing with) and I have been communing quite often recently. That and my angels. I have been drawn to Kundalini and I knew it was something I was being guided towards. But I had a discussion with my Spirit Guide – yes, your guides and angels will always communicate with you the way you most feel comfortable with – and I told him we needed to talk. While going through this journey of mine, I do not believe I have to go through the mind-blowing Kundalini experiences and I told my guide as much. So I told him I needed to know.

Minutes later, I came across this site that described some of the symptoms of a Kundalini awakening. Guess what? In the past couple of years, I have been going through basically all the symptoms! This means I have been going through a Kundalini Awakening and I did not even know about it!

I was reluctant to do this post because 1. I have just done one post today 2. I was being human (read being lazy) but I am learning to listen to guidance and this time it was quite strong. ‘Write It’, it said. What if someone else is afraid of going through this divine process, due to misinformation just like you have experienced? Be the light worker you are meant to be.

And so, here we are. I will not list down the symptoms, as the article’s author has put down everything so well. All I will tell you is, there is nothing to fear. Go with the flow and your angels, guides, God/Divine power has you covered. You will be alright.

Love and Light.

Healing Work Failing?

Today I had an amazing revelation. While I am a psychic and having very noble intentions of sending healing energy to my family, friends and everyone around, I have been concentrating on the wrong thing.

Question: Have you ever felt that you are doing all the right things, including calling the big guns (angels and spirit guide) to assist you in dispersing healing energy yet you feel the results are not as you expected? So have I. Guess what, the problem is not the process, the problem is what we are focusing on.

Think about it. Light work does not involve the ego. We do what we are guided to do. Healing is part of light work. But what happens is, we concentrate on the outcome. What do I mean by this? Sending healing energy to someone so that you can HEAL THEM! See what happened there? The ego kicked in. You are not the one DOING THE HEALING! When you start focusing on ‘HEALING’. Then automatically the ego kicks in which then follows, your vibrations get lowered.

What then should we do? You know someone, or yourself are dis-eased. Your work is to send them your highest vibrations. Love. Compassion. Light. Call upon God, or the Divine, Angels and Spirit Guide to be with you as you send the higher vibration to the person in need. Do not concentrate on the fact that ‘you want them to get better’. Just send love. If you concentrate on what is ailing the person, you are feeding the ailment energy. This means that first, your attempt at ‘healing’ will of course fail, or worse the dark/negative energy bounces back to you.

Remember, being humble is the trait of a light worker. Every time the ego threatens to come into play, send a prayer to the higher beings to eliminate the ego, show you the way, teach you and guide your every action. With time, you will enter the energy healing cycle easily.

Go then, spread light to the world and become the beacons of light you were meant to be.

Love and Light.

Taming The Inner Child – Re-Post

Re-Post From The Kenyan Mom

We all have these. The Inner Children. Maybe I shouldn’t say taming. It’s more like integrating. Integrating your inner child to the adult you. Depending on events in our childhood, we are either quite tuned in to our inner child or completely out of tune. So out of tune that our inner child may sometimes act up. How? You ask me. I am not an expert, having started learning about my inner child only recently. I can however tell you what I’ve figured out thus far.

The inner child is very powerful, and he/she will not be ignored. How does the inner child get the attention they think they deserve? Ever acted in a way that was completely out of character? Made decisions that you later wonder how you could have made such a decision? Mostly, these acts/decisions are on the negative, believe it or not. Imagine a child. A child who has been calling for attention and is not getting any. Imagine what this child would do. They will tag on you dress, and if that still doesn’t get your attention, they will go ahead and throw a tantrum.

This dear readers, is what our inner child is capable of doing. The times when you find yourself wondering, ‘how could I do that? How could I have said that? What was I thinking?’ You probably were not. Your inner child was calling for attention. Some ways in which, I’m learning, that the inner child calls for attention include:

i) Addictions: – We are fond of looking at some addictions as cute. We only think that the only bad addictions are drugs and alcohol. These are just two of the highly publicized as having negative effects on an individual. There are addictions like caffeine, work, chocolates, sugar, internet, love, persons, e.t.c. Make no mistake ladies and gentlemen. These addictions are as deadly as drugs and alcohol. They are by no means cute.

ii) Codependency:- Do you find yourself being the savior of the universe? Offering help even when it’s not solicited? Being the go-to person when anyone is in trouble and they want to talk or want to be bailed out of trouble? Do you find yourself not wanting to talk about your problems because you think none of these people you are ‘saving’, who you even refer to as FRIENDS will understand you? Do you sometimes find yourself resentful of people because they don’t take time to ask you how you are doing, yet you keep asking everyone how they are doing? Do you at times feel extremely drained, yet, you cannot stop till you ‘help’ that one more person? Feel taken advantage of? Can never say no even when you don’t want to do something or help? Like your relationships are always one-sided? Trying to parent the world? You could apparently be suffering from co-dependency, and though it might not look like it, your inner child is calling for attention.

iii) Narcissism:- You tend to think the whole world is wrong and you are right. The world suddenly revolves around you. Everyone and everything lives to gratify your needs. You lack compassion and you have to be in control at all times. This, coupled with passive aggressive behavior, driven to the extreme becomes a problem. We do need to love ourselves and be loved by others. But we also need to realise that there are other people out there. The whole world is not bad or out to get us and we can as well be compassionate.

These are 3 examples of how our inner child calls for our attention. They are of course not the only ones, but do you see child-like behavior in all of them? Why we are not likely to pay attention to our inner child, talk and listen to that inner child is because we are too busy living as the society expects us to, busy building walls around us or just too busy to sit and reflect. To listen to ourselves.

There are many ways in which we can begin to address the inner child, and they are quite deep. Some, believe it or not will require a therapist, who will help you analyse your childhood to determine what effect it had on you and your adult life. Understanding this ‘child’ will be the first step to living a healthy life and forming healthy, constructive relationships.

Again, I’m not an expert and I’m just beginning to understand the powerful effects of childhood and the inner child in how I live my life. Only you can look at yourself and determine if you and your inner child are in perfect harmony by critically examining yourself, your friends and your relationships. Happy hunting.

Quieting Down The Ego

Everyone is born a psychic. We have heard this said time and time again. So what happens along the way? Everything! From our parents looking at us strangely, to the society telling us that psychics are working for the devil, to us feeling high and mighty because we recognise a gift that others seem not to be having.

All these things add up to our gifts shutting down. The biggest culprit however, becomes the ego. Don’t get me wrong, the ego has it’s place. In it’s purest form, it is supposed to protect you. Keep you safe. When it grows out of control, it then takes the form of pride and malice. It is that voice that tells you not to associate with certain people because they are beneath you! Same voice that tells you ‘look how special you are. You cannot be seriously engaging with people without abilities’. This is completely different from our angels and guides, lovingly showing us the way to go. Your higher self will not approach anything with pride. Angels do not give directives. This goes against Free Will, which humans have been blessed with. They can only gently show you the consequences of following the path you are on, and nudge you onto a different path. This can only happen, however, if you are willing to listen.

So how do we control, or what I am calling ‘Quieten’ the ego? Acknowledge that the ego is part of you. There to serve you. Talk to your angels, spirit guides, higher self, God, or whoever you consider your guiding light. Tell them that you want to recognise when the ego comes to play. Once you recognise the ego, it is not your job to shut it out. Recognise what it is saying, depending on the circumstance. See if it is valid. Ask for advice from high and conciously tell your ego that you understand it is trying to protect you, but there is a better way.

This way, the ego will not one day riot on you, which can sometimes become very devastating (read substance and self abuse). On certain occassion, let the ego come out to play. Brag about an achievement (that’s your ego). With time and a lot of work on your part, you will start recognising which part of you is communicating. The Ego, the logic mind, your angels and archangles, spirits and guides or higher self.
